What Our Clients Had to Say About Working With The Brian Kondo Real Estate Team | Lynda & Bob

As real estate agents, when you do a great job for your clients, they will have no problem using you again or refer you to friends and family. Not just a good job, but a great job, especially if they are considering whether to refer you to family and friends. The reason? They don’t want to be embarrassed if those people complain about the job you did for them. I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating:

Every member of my team abides by these guiding principles. We have regular meetings and customer service is always emphasized.

Lynda and her husband Bob had sold two homes with me and referred me to two other people they know to sell their homes. They must have received positive reviews because I received a call from them when Lynda’s brother passed. Lynda was the executor, but her nephew was the sole beneficiary and was living in the house. At the peak of the market, there were over 65,000 agents on the Toronto Real Estate Board. Everyone knows an agent or two or even ten! No different with Lynda’s nephew Jason. After my initial meeting with Lynda, Bob, Jason and his girlfriend, Jason said they would like to think about it and will let me know in a few days whether they would use me to list the house. After the four of them had a private heart to heart in another room of the house, they came back and asked me to list the home asap.

I went to work right away. I had my photographer come the next day. Within a few days he sent me the pictures, virtual tour, and floor plans. I had the listing broker-loaded with a delayed offer date. We received multiple offers on the offer date and sold $66,000 over the asking price! In addition to the price, Jason was very happy with the professionalism my team exhibited and the way I handled the multiple offer process.

Would this all have happened if Lynda and Bob weren’t confident that they wouldn’t need to apologize in pushing for me to sell the house? Maybe, but like I said above, most people know a lot of good agents, including Jason. Since my team did a great job with Bob and Lynda selling two homes for them before and not embarrassing them when they referred a couple other people to me, I think they must have felt strongly that my team and I were the right choice to sell her brother’s house.
